“The purpose of the counseling room is to lead clients back to themselves. Each of my clients showed me that they had an innate ability to change and grow. DCC operates on the core value of making counseling affordable and flexible for people with various needs to have the ability to walk through the doors and receive care. I grew in my passion for walking with people's stories and learned that authentic relationality, a core part of who we are, leads people back to themselves in ways they did not know first walking in.”

Clinical Staff
Denver Counseling Center is clinically staffed by unlicensed student counselors working toward their master's degree in clinical mental health counseling. Our student counselors have received adequate training and completed the coursework required by counseling division faculty to provide counseling services to clients. They also receive hours of supervision from licensed professional counselors every week.
