How much do Sessions Cost?

Session fees are determined using a sliding scale and based on your annual household income. Our clients pay between $20 and $60 per session.

Do you accept insurance?

We do not work directly with insurance and we're not a Medicaid- approved provider, which excludes us from working with anyone who is a Medicaid recipient. We can offer you referrals if this applies to you!

Can I get ahold of someone at DCC 24/7 if I'm in trouble?

DCC is not an emergency service or crisis center. If you are experiencing an emergency, please call 9-1-1 or visit your nearest emergency room.

I think I'm ready to move forward, what now?

Accepted Answer

The first step is to call our office or email us to schedule a time to complete a phone questionnaire. This usually takes around 20 minutes and we use the information from the call to determine if DCC is a good fit for your counseling needs.

Question 5

Is counseling at DCC Faith Based?

Accepted Answer

Our counselors are trained to provide clinical counseling, which is different from biblical or pastoral counseling. If you bring matters of faith or spirituality into session, our counselors are happy to meet you there. If you'd prefer not to incorporate those topics, that's not a problem at all.

Question 6

How long do Counseling sessions normally last?

Accepted Answer

Typically, an individual counseling session lasts 45-50 minutes. We often schedule couple and family clients for 90-minute sessions. If a longer session sounds best for you, let us know!
